Our home theater experts can also specify the perfect AV equipment for your lifestyle and budget, and will even install and program all components, leaving you with a home theater that’s fun and easy for the whole family to use.

There are multiple factors to consider when designing the perfect home theater, such as;

- The size of the room
- Room acoustics
- Choosing the right video equipment for your theater
- Sound systems & speaker placement
- Interior finish & trim carpentry
- Seating arrangement & furniture selection

The size and shape of your room will play a part in determining the best type of audio/visual equipment (TV vs. projector) and where to place your speakers.

Room Acoustics, Listener Position, and Room Acoustics Impact Speaker Placement.
Enclosures and back boxes can be built into the wall behind the speakers to eliminate variable wall volume and control sound bleeding from the home theater to other rooms.

Choosing the Right Video Equipment
How important is the performance of your home theater system?  What type of equipment will you be using, and what are your storage needs for this equipment?  Our experts will work with you to determine the optimum setup for your lifestyle and budget.

Sound System & Speaker Placement
The next essential element of the home theater experience is sound.  A home theater system will use an AV receiver or a preamplifier / amplifier combination, along with various stand alone or in-wall speakers placed throughout the room.

Interior Finish & Trim Carpentry
At this stage, you’ll be able to give your home theater a distinctive flair by adding finishing touches such as upholstered wall panels to buffer sound, baseboard, window casings, crown molding, wall sconces, built in cabinetry, and more.  Painting your room in darker, matt colors to avoid glare and adding carpet to help muffle sound reverberation will add to your home theater experience.

Seating Arrangement
The arrangement of your seating will also be affected by the size of your screen.  The larger the screen, the farther away the seating should be in order to optimize viewing.

Furniture Selection
When it comes to selecting furniture for your home theater, there are all kinds of fun amenities, ranging from lighted cup holders and snack trays to state of the art tactile transducers that can be installed in furniture to reproduce the feel of sounds you experience within a movie such as explosions, earthquakes and other sound effects.  There are also space saver models and folding seats, designed to maximize any space.  Using a plusher material on any type of seating will absorb more sound, which will improve the overall sound performance of your home theater.

Our home theater experts are here to take you through every stage of the Design, Construction and Installation process.  Please contact us for a personalized consultation in order to determine your specific home theater needs.
